This morning my husband told me about a jackdaw in the backyard who didn't fly away when he got near. I thought that was strange because they're usually pretty skittish. But then I went into the garden and found out why. The poor little guy had an injured wing and could no longer fly.

I managed to capture him and brought him to a wildlife rescue center where he will be looked after and hopefully cured.

Ein schottisches Gericht hat die Genehmigung für die #Ölfelder und #Gasfelder #Jackdaw und #Rosebank in der #Nordsee aufgehoben. Der Grund: Die britische Regierung habe die #Klimaauswirkungen nicht ausreichend berücksichtigt. #Umweltorganisationen wie #Greenpeace feiern das Urteil als wichtigen Erfolg. Die Projekte von #Shell und #Equinor dürfen zwar weiterentwickelt werden, eine Förderung ist jedoch erst nach neuen Genehmigungen möglich.
