[#WIP] I first started sketching the logo redesign for the philadelphia mycology club about a year ago when my laptop had broken. Since then, i've been pretty limited in my ability to find drawing sessions, working for about two hours every other week when I could find time. I found that in some point in March, i had ended up with something that was close to complete but i really disliked. i said fuck it all, tossed nearly a year's worth of work (of which there were probably like 10 versions). i did several more sketches while listening to lectures at a conference, and in the delirium of being sick i'm churning out something i'm much more satisfied with.

Returning to my normal activity, loooooooook!!!! I'm doing the big reference sheet of my OC Sebastian!

So far, I have 2/6 references that I need to do for my main OCs, I hope I can finish them soon because after the references I want to do random art of them for better introduction~

Wrapped up all my commercial projects and final mirror world class, along with working on a new hanging chandelier sculpture with @alifeeney . The stick sculpture runs a #webcam server with GPIO controls so that anyone can view and interact with the sculpture from anywhere in the world.

It's website is down currently, as it's the sculpture is my minivan with me as I drive cross country. I visited some old friends in Corning last night, and am staying with an exceptional neon bender who bent a lot of work for Bruce Nauman in Chicago tonight.

My show, "Embracing Fallibility" opens along with my "Mind Benders" class at FOCI, in Minneapolis in a few days. Until then, I will be driving a bunch listening to radio drama's and chatting with students as a visiting artist at UW Madison.

Oh it's hectic, but it's nice to be on the road again - the voice an stories of Joe Frank keeping me company

I've spent a couple of days revising my studio; turns out I needed more vertical uprights to hang paintings in progress on, and also more screws closer together so I can more easily move a painting up or down a little. Glad it's done and I can get back to work!
