April is #PoetryMonth, and we're celebrating with poetry books that spark children's love of language, bring comfort, and encourage them to express themselves creatively.

You can help us bring more of these important works by donating a book from our #PoetryMonthWISHLIST!

We're celebrating #PoetryMonth by reading “A Stick Is an Excellent Thing” by award-winning poet Marilyn Singer and local illustrator LeUyen Pham.

Lyrical poems and bold illustrations capture kids' creative energy and invite readers to join in the fun of active play with games that cost nothing.

After months of reading the How To Train Your Dragon books with NJ, I've come to realise it is not bedtime reading.

Not for its content.

But because there is literally no good place to pause for continuing another day.

Cressida Cowell's writing is just so good. The series draws you in with childish simplicity, but it's far more complex and wide reaching than the first books imply.

We're not through the series yet. It will be unfair when it does finish.

All of our beautiful new and like-new children's books are donated by our awesome community of supporters, and we're always looking for Bay Area bookstores, cafes, and other businesses to host our #BookDrop donation stands.

If you know a great spot for a #BookDrop, check the link in bio for details!
