The situation on the Vulpibus is never cheap it seems, though we have managed to get some things for free there's some we don't expect to be free at all.

Things we need:

Plywood
Sheet metal
Angle iron
Screws
A towing dolly for our car to be pulled behind the bus
Oil filter
A full engine check and service to deduce where coolant is leaking

Can we say $2000 to cover most of this?

We are still months away from me getting employed in a job where the pay will be something but not exactly much in the face of inflation.

Please find us free parking for a few months... PA, NJ or NY state

The sculpture at Metrostation Weesperplein honors the old “Weesperpoortstation” (1843–1939), the former railway station from which to depart to Utrecht and Arnhem. Carved in sandstone, this artwork was erected in 1941.

Created by architect Piet Kramer in the ‘Amsterdamse School’ style, it displays three layered historical locomotives representing the railways’ evolution. 🚂🚃🚄

The first steam train between Amsterdam and Haarlem (sept. 20, 1839) drove at the speed of 30 km/h and was pulled by a locomotive called “De Arend”. In 1908, the country’s first electric train took off between Rotterdam Hofplein and Scheveningen Kurhaus. It was powered by a 10,000-volt AC system from a dedicated power plant. 🔋⚡

The first diesel train followed in 1934, running from Amsterdam to Arnhem. 🚂💪

The Basics of Sonic Physics
The (very most barest) basics are explained in this five-minute video from Game Facts Special:

The (impossibly detailed) specifics are on Sonic Retro. Warning: you have no idea.

Can I summarize them briefly? Not really, but here's the basics. The tiles link to a list o

Godot 4.4 was released. This version brings some improvements to the camera3D preview. Adjusting a Camera3D is now much less of a chore. Enjoy a preview of its capture directly in the inspector, without having to open another viewport or switching back and forth anymore.

Godot 4.4 released. This version intergrades the Jolt Physics Engine into Godot.

The Jolt extension has been used as the de facto physics engine by many Godot developers since its inception in late 2022, so it only made sense to integrate it into the engine directly. Jolt Physics itself is actually a standalone open source physics engine and its creator helped immensely with the Godot bindings.

Godot 4.4 released. This version brings typed dictionaries.

Typed dictionaries are coming to Godot. This impacts the core engine, GDScript, and all other scripting languages when interfacing with Godot’s Dictionary type.

The Inspector UX has been improved accordingly, to let you assign the right keys and values directly in the editor.
