@michcampbell I think that this point is pretty clear “It may speak to unspoken issues that they have with immigration or same-sex marriage, or if they think that feminism has gone too far”. Dutton’s ‘Woke’ is dog whistling to anyone who has a grievance but it’s not the same grievance. He can’t articulate what he means because there is no agreement and he would loose more votes than he gains.

There's just something about Peter #Dutton that reminds me of the Pale Man from Pan's Labyrinth. Maybe it's the utterly nondescript visage, or perhaps it's that he's an aggressive, self-interested, empty shell of a human being.

I normally avoid ad hominem but this guy is just a plastic bag of wet toilet paper compared to what a prime minister ought to be.

I had 2 thoughts about this. First was why is the Murdock press talking up CO2 reductions in the UK but not Australia? Second, given the large contribution of renewables in the Australian electricity grid, why don’t we talk more about the successes. If we did more of that then the bogus Dutton nuclear push and his desire to turn back renewables and EVs would be shown for what they are, climate change denial.
