It has started to "rain" petals... then quick, another photo of this ephemere beauty!
Magnolia and Forsythia are two ephemere beauties. A photo taken last Friday for this #PhotoMonday (Note my "spirit of annoyance" expressing itself here
).
Railway station districts have often bad reputation. In ours live all kind of people and it is very good so and it looks very nice, especially in spring when the trees are blooming. Certainly not as fabulous as it is in Japan but for us, it's already something. In the past, the Avenue Bouvier which goes from the railway station to the center of Virton war nicknamed the "Champs Elysées" Virton.
Well, let us dream about it!
Acer Cappadocicum, caucasian maple, Botanical Gardens, Sheffield, last week.
And I didn't see the 'face' when taking the photo!

Tree of the Year awards

300 year old Polish beech tree wins for the fourth time. The photo in the article is beautiful.
Last night's sunset was gorgeous. Happy #ThickTrunkThursday to those who celebrate!
On a walk around the cemetery, I found a tree that fell over. A handsome brute! This stonky fella has been around since the industrial revolution. The authorities don't cut down stonkers unless they're a danger to life, so I'm guessing it was sick.
I tried taking a chonk home for a rustic, natural seat in the garden. Alas, 'twas much heft.

Midday light on the trees was meh, so I decided to go monochrome and focus on close up textures
