Last #Fartlek run before Sunday #MillTown #marathon: 9 laps of ~27.5s sprints with 1min jogging in-between, then followed by tempo run. Avg lap pace 5'34"/mi w/ peak pace 4'42"/mi. Total distance 6.2mi pace 8'28"/mi. Avg/max HR 139/162bpm.

Temp felt like 44F cloudy to drizzling w/ wind 13.1mph SSW -- headwind on the way back.

No soreness during or after. Feeling pretty good!

#LongRunSunday: got my last long run done before next Sunday's #MillTown #Marathon (and before the rain)! Plan was pacing 8’/mi for the first half and 7’35”/mi for the second to get under BQ goal pace 7’37”/mi. Got 7’35”/mi and PRs on 10mi and 15K (1:09:25, a min faster than the PR from last month)!

But I might have a shoe problem (Nike Alphafly 3): felt sore on the right side of right foot after the run. I thought it’d pass after a few runs, but looks like it didn’t. 😞 Any ideas?

This #LongRunSunday I embarked on a scout run for the #MillTown #Marathon I'll participate 2 weeks from now. I ran this race last year as my very first official marathon race, and I got lost 3 times! So I decided no more -- I'm going to follow the map on my own before the race day!

I took it easy, leaving plenty of time for checking the map, refueling, and photos etc. Moving time was 4:07 pace 9'25"/mi. ~72% in Z2 or under.
