BBC NewsCEO Brian Thompson's killing exposes simmering anger at US health systemLong-standing frustrations were revealed online after a health insurance executive was shot and killed in New York City.

@ChrisMayLA6 The US health sector is fascinating. It represents the absolute worst aspect of public health care, with the absolute worst aspects of private health care.

@ChrisMayLA6 I remember when I studied in the US and a woman in my class cut her fingers deep enough to require stitches.

She came to the hospital, they performed one stich I think or two, and then she was given a bill of 1700 USD and was sent home.

Fortunately for her, she was leaving (this was at the end of the academic year) so she just threw away the bill and went back to spain. ;)
