Once a year, half the city seems to be spending their weekend afternoons on balconies and rooftops when airplanes blast through the Chicago sky. Sometimes I enjoy watching everyone searching for the noise somewhere in the air more than the actual planes flying by.

Update There is a lot of interest in intentional, sanctified tattoos outside of a rigorous ritual context AND the opportunity for my partner to exit their well-paying but psychologically detrimental day job by next March (if all goes according to plan). Finally. This is something I've hinted at and that we've tried to make happen several times, but it appears that it is absolutely necessary and likely possible this time around.
This is kind of an ironic update after my last post on the topic but I will be opening my books for the first time ever for clients without referrals for sanctified tattoos beginning in January.
These tattoos will be offered in my ritual space at Racho de la Libertad, a sacred regenerative property. They will be performed with intention and can be magical as well. They will simply not require the same amount of preparation from the client, or entail the same level of participation. However, the opportunity to be tattooed at Rancho de la Libertad is a unique one, as the property always teems with visitors from all over the world, including artists, writers, musicians, and activists, and obtaining a booking is an invitation into this sacred communal space.
If you refer a paid client and are from the fediverse you can receive either a free tattoo (up to $200) or a free art commission to the same value. This way I hope to include even those who are not regional in reaping the benefits of sharing if they so choose 
Ritual tattoos remain by invitation or referral only and remain external to capitalist transaction. Mutuals are welcome to DM for ritual tattoo inquiries as always.

A reminder that there is transformative power even in small acts of embodiment and engagement with self. It takes humility not to pander to ego which declares we must go big or quit. If we are to truly reach out and connect with the All, we find we must reach within -- we find that these actions are one in the same. As an aspect of the All, our movements and actions are mirrored in all directions.

My time is short recently but I've felt very passionate about this practice of mine, and I've been tattooing as much as I can. The tattoos I've done have been intuitive, body based, absolutely bleeding with intention and often following intensive meditation rituals and tarot readings, offerings I'm feeling more and more confident providing to others.
