We used to specialize in bold chunky jewelry in non-precious materials like nylon and steel. But when the production costs from our suppliers rose and the quality and value didn't, we decided to discontinue those materials and focus exclusively on heirloom quality metals like sterling silver. Sadly, this meant designing smaller items for a while. But we missed the big "F-OFF" statement pieces we used to make so much that we finally figured out how to create them again, this time in premium metals. Our 2.0 versions are a bit more versatile: unisex and uni-size. Because the pieces will likely outlive you, you should be able to pass them on to whomever you like.

It's our latest design: a contrast oxidized throat grill made of hand-finished solid sterling silver and leather.

We used to specialize in bold chunky jewelry in non-precious materials like nylon and steel. But when the production costs rose and the quality didn't, we decided to discontinue those materials and focus exclusively on heirloom quality metals like sterling silver.

For a while, this meant designing smaller items. But we really missed the big "F-OFF" statement pieces we used to make, so we figured out ways to create them again, this time in premium materials. Making progress on the shuttle tatted choker/necklace/whatchamacallit. I've always been fascinated by lace making, but the bobbin and pin method is a) impossible to do on the go and b) a sensory nightmare with the clacking of bobbins against each other 😵‍💫 i was so happy when i discovered shuttle tatting, which eliminates both issues and is actually not that hard to learn. The stitches are structured pretty much like macrame knots and the patterns/diagrams are easy to follow. Even for me, and i can't stand reading patterns 🫣 this is a free pattern i found online, originally meant to be attached as edging on a handkerchief.
