It's important to understand this is just one of many assaults on birthright citizenship.

To the Trump regime, children born of immigrants are not really citizens either. That's the real issue here - and they are going to keep pushing until the system breaks.

100% this is how fascism works.

Government is not about right and wrong, or following the rule of law. It's about Dear Leader's wishes and protecting him.

That's why the gov refuses to reverse an admitted deportation mistake. It's why they play games with the court. And why they fire the lawyer for telling the truth to the court (eg. I asked my client and they wouldn't answer)

The IMF and World Bank were largely created by the US, have structural advantages for the US and the WB is always led by an American.

If Trump wanted reform, he could easily do it. But he doesn't understand them, has no reform ideas - he just needs an "enemy" to rail against.
