The parallels between "Reign of the Empire: The Mask of Fear"—set immediately after Palpatine seizes power—and what's currently happening in the United States are chilling, and Mon Mothma's anxiety and trauma as she struggles through the early months of the new fascist order feels very relatable.

The novel works well as a tie-in to "Andor".

"If you love Andor, this book (and series) is for you."

That would be me! "Andor" is my favourite live action "Star Wars" series, and Alexander Freed is one of my favourite "Star Wars" authors, so I've been looking forward to this book since it was announced.

I finished book 86 which was "Star Wars: The Return of the Jedi: From a Certain Point of View". This book consists of 40 short stories as told from the view of secondary and tertiary characters in the Return of the Jedi. Good book like the 2 before it (Star Wars: A New Hope and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi)
