Channel 4's Krishnan Guru-Murthy pressed Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Sharren Haskell about the US and Israel's plan to have Palestinians “voluntarily” leave Gaza.
Haskell responded by insisting that Hamas is to blame for the conditions Palestinians are in, as Israel presses further into the territory.
Last week, the Israeli cabinet approved the establishment of "a body to manage voluntary migration [of Palestinians] from Gaza".
This "body" consists of personnel from various Israeli ministries, the police, the army and intelligence services. Its task will be to "facilitate the controlled movement of Palestinians through Israel for their departure to third countries"."
