#Saturdoom this weeks brings the velvety smooth #DoomMetal from the Italian band Messa. Their new record was released to the public yesterday and I find it to be a nice, smooth mix of old school #DoomMetal with modern influences and even a bit of very smokey slow #Jazz.

On Saturday, the #Fediverse #hivemind focussed it’s multifaceted eyes on the musical genre of #doom by celebrating #Saturdoom. Doom usually is low and slow, can be quite psychedelic, sometimes feels old school and usually drops the temperature in a room by some degrees and introduces a lingering fog near the floor.

Today, for #Saturdoom I will high light the new record from German #DoomMetal outfit Daevar. Their new record Sub Rosa brings a massive amount of groove to their very good mix of #StonerDoom and #DoomMetal. The female vocals also offsets nicely to the rumbling bass.
