Hat eigentlich jemand mit #followerpower der #Fahrradbubble Kontakt zu #Bosch ? Ich frage da die Flow-App für Bosch eBikes noch #Komoot für den Navi (der über das Kiox-Modul abrufbar ist) nutzt, ob man Bosch nicht überzeugen könnte auf #OpenStreetMaps hierfür zu wechseln.

@organicmaps Nice! Looking forward to see this city tour maps in #organicMaps app! But, is there any chance of having also city public transport lines? I see there is a metro layer in some cities but other transports like bus/tram are not visible, but in #openstreetmaps web version, they are available.

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're refering to as #OpenStreetMaps, is in fact, #OpenStreetMap. OpenStreetMap is not a street map unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning #GIS system made useful by the #osmium libraries, shell utilities and vital tagging scheme comprising a full geospatial information system as defined by #OSGeo.
Depois de ler um texto do @ploum falando sobre a construção de um computador que dure 50 anos ― onde também se fala do princípio de #offlinefirst / #localfirst ―, tive ganas de criar um repertório de documentos para deixar no disco rígido para consulta rápida e sem internet.
Já baixei alguns mapas (América do Sul, Brasil, Ceará etc.) e alguns dicionários. Tentei baixar o mapa de infraestrutura da minha cidade pelo #OpenStreetMaps, mas não consegui direitinho. Penso em baixar o repositório da Wikipédia.

I am right now using @OrganicMaps because it's the only navigation app I have tried that loads the map almost instantly, doesn't lag, and has great support for on-foot and bicycle routing.
But the navigation options are very minimal (avoid unpaved roads, motorways, tolls etc). I'd like more options like detailed in the post above. Or being able to just press a button while on the bicycle to be navigated to the closest bike parking in one click.
I got a (maybe dumb) #OpenStreetMaps question: I am using #StreetComplete regularly, but I noticed that the information it asks me for is often already shown and known in my OSM app (#OrganicMaps).
Am I not adding new and previously unknown information? Where and when does my contribution go live, and how?

@mattb There's a speedo built into #OsmAnd (the #OpenStreetMaps app for Android) which is good enough for my purposed while driving and cycling.

Also, whenever I need directions while driving, I use #openstreetmaps from my phone.
Might not be your preference, but works great for me.
