Last thoughts:

* Mo was really on it today. Brilliant first touches and caused loads of problems, even against a packed back 5

* Lucho has been the engine of the offense for about a month now. He doesn't score enough for some people's liking, but he is wonderfully direct. I think his vision has improved under Slot.

* Don't know why Slot won't give Elliot more looks.

* Bradley is both a fantastic defender, not afraid to lay a physical challenge on someone, but also great going forward.

While Lucho and Salah were both really great (before being utterly starved of the ball in the second half), Alisson is my MOTM.

Four saves and 0.59 goals prevented. It took a defensive miscommunication to bungle in an own goal and ruin the clean sheet. West Ham were finding no joy on their own.

Fair play to #WHU who were excellent in the second half and really should have left with a point. I was aghast at how easily #LFC continued to allow Kudus and Paqueta so much space. For a press that really worked in the first half, it was a disaster in the second.

None of Slot's subs, omitting Endo, were good and the team mentally came unglued. The goal saved Van Dijk's player rating, because he was surprisingly shaky in the second half. Robbo, sadly, looks finished. Tsimikas was great.

I've finally seen #LFC. Having a full week off after the Fulham loss, my expectation is that a refreshed squad playing at Anfield would clatter the team sitting just above the relegation zone. Especially, having lost 3 of the last four games (all comps), being boosted by Mo's renewed contract, and seeing Arsenal dropping more points. And indeed, the first half looked so similar to the start of the year.

And then 10 minutes into the second half, the team collectively went to sleep.

Most Likely Clinch: April 27 vs Spurs

Could Clinch Earlier: Apr 23 (if Arsenal drop points + Liverpool beat Leicester)

Poetic Option: May 11 vs Arsenal at Anfield

Anyway, if the title is won at Spurs on Apr 27, it will still be a great show at Anfield on May 11 no matter what. It may even be sweeter assuming that we win it.

#LFC just this second got down from the rooftop naked screaming “VIRGIL VAN DIJK VIRGIL VAN DIJK” what a game… obvious nerves for players and fans alike but we pushed through and now Leicester AND Tottenham at home and it’s No20.
