Okay yes I've figured out how to do my Forward Inside 3-turns, at least at the wall:

I simply need to T-push into a FI edge with deep knee bend, pelvis forward and straight back, then, holding my hip back and turned out, bring my free foot behind my heel while smoothly rocking up, meanwhile checking my head and shoulders. As I turn, stretch my leading arm back to keep my back straight, exit on the BO edge, then extend my free leg back with hips still turned out.

Simple really.
