I'm honestly wondering how long Trump is going to last. It's like someone took a big dump both at the White House and in Congress with V.P. Harris helping certify Trump's credentials w/o checking into the fact that he is now an actual felon.

And so, we're more or less back to the KellyAnne Conway phase of MAGA government. Facts don't matter. Or instead, it's that nagging feeling we have over what many of us perceive as facts which aren't collectively true; according to MAGA's exclusive and also at times isolationist viewpoint system which looks kindly on both the landed gentry and the ultra rich.

All of this is a travesty of the political system and certainly a betrayal to poor people. I think even many members of the media have been clear over where this lack of economic and political progress occurring in tandem is really headed. Where some of the "we" say the system is lacking, others who are probably more privileged are claiming nothing's wrong and it just takes time to get things right. All of this and all of that -- all of these win and no-win scenarios are seen as simply business as usual occurring in Washington as the times keep changing.

I guess when you get poorer you know it. I remember being both isolated and being really broke. Then I made it. I more or less did it on my own, but it was a real struggle and I hurt at times getting to the point I'm at now.

How do we reconcile this garbage behavior from elected officials? I don't think it's because many of today's politicians are too old or too out of touch. It's simply because people such as the lawful Kamala Harris were handed down a partly broken system and have to make do with what's prevalent and operative.

Hats off to my #Congresswoman from #Oregon Val Hoyle for looking into a personal issue about me regarding a financial matter I'm facing with the government.
