Right before boarding my flight, an #AmericanAirlines employee asked me to do something that, in my opinion, was borderline ridiculous: they told me to store my fanny pack in my backpack because it counted as a personal item, and I was only allowed two items (my backpack and my carry-on) 🤦‍♂️.

My fanny pack holds my phone, wallet, and a couple of small extras. By that logic, my jeans should also be considered a personal item, I’m pretty sure I can fit more in my pockets than in my fanny pack 🤷‍♂️.

Fun fact: If you're on a flight that uses Viasat for Wi-Fi connectivity and have T-Mobile you get free wifi in the US but even on international flights where they hide the T-Mobile deal you can still access the T-Mobile promotion page directly

You have to get your device ID token from the URL of any of their wifi-related links

Then paste it into this URL: directaccess.viasat.com/landin

Enjoy, T-Mobile flyers!

The Return Of #Supersonic Flights Might Actually Be Real
#BoomSupersonic's test #plane could pave the way for a new supersonic #airline
The private test plane is a one-third-scale presentation of the startup’s planned Overture airliner. #AmericanAirlines and #UnitedAirlines have already placed orders for the Overture, so a successful test flight next week would be a monumental step toward the return of supersonic commercial flights.
