It won 13 Emmys + is one of the defining dramas of the late 1980s, but it’s still not streaming.
Pretty in pink, breathtaking in blue. But don't let the pastels fool you: officers Hoffs (Holly Robinson Peete) & Ioki (Dustin Nguyen) tackle homophobia & gay-bashing in 21 JUMP STREET (1987), S2E08: Honor Bound.
Sure the show was earnest & cheesy; but it was dark & gritty too. Topical & socially aware for its time, the series still holds up on rewatching.
