At first I wanted to disagree with you, thinking growth in the wake of destruction would only apply to ecosystems, not the mind. But I felt there might be some truth to it so I contemplated it for a couple of days.

I think you are right. Hitting the floor so hard that you can't ignore that you need to grow is a thing. And the more you pay attention the smaller the impact needs to be. Which is what ultimately lead me to write that pair of senryu.
