I can't wait for the episodes to drop!
It's really well done, I'm hooked by the mental and underground games the characters play.

#KimDaeMyung plays a really cool secondary character: an ex-prosecutor reconverted to lawyer with inspiring dialogues.

Isn't this a fabulous show? I thought you might drop it because it's very male-dominated but each of the characters in the team has their own role to play.
I really need to learn how to play Go! It's not part of this show but I feel like it is.

@EllenInEdmonton It's male-dominated but the few ladies in the cast get a lot of screen time and are definitely key characters.
I am not against realistically portraying a male-dominated world. It was like that in #Misaeng too and I loved that #kdrama
On the other hand I'm totally turned off by those k-dramas that in the first 20-30 minutes do not include any interesting dialogue with a female character. That's why I dropped #MyMister for instance.

@s1m0n4
In My Mister, there are few female characters because it focuses more on the relationships among the brothers and within the office. Still, the female characters play really key roles in the show. It's such a fabulous show, one of my all-time favourites!

@EllenInEdmonton well the additional issues making it unbearable to watch were the dull dialogues between male characters. And the ridiculous scene with the bee. If that's the level of pathos and intrigue I'm getting, then it's a big no 😂

@s1m0n4 @EllenInEdmonton I would give my mister another try, it grows on you with each episode. The response to the bee is just used as a metafor and not representative for the series. I am normally sensitive about the role and representarion of women (eg. Bechdel test, which is difficult in ) but I would say this one is ok. the female writer jokes about this being a film about the life of an adjussi (what is more boring than that?) but that that film also needs a woman via a dream

@s1m0n4 @EllenInEdmonton (all up to you of course but I just love this one a lot 😃) So much of the story is told in code, just like with . I like the treasure hunt and how different people catch up on a different story line, which gives you a complete different ending depending on what you picked up!
