It’s Labor Day Monday in the US, and I’ve been reading about the history of its origin in the labor movement and unionizing, which led to an 8-hour—in the factory—work day, down from a 10-16-hour work day.
I spent a lot of time this weekend thinking about how to take care of what must be done today in order to land in the tomorrow I’m wanting, for the remainder of the semester, while keeping within reasonable limits that support sustained effort. 2/ #LaborDay
And I’m looking at consistent 8-hour, must-be-done-today, work days with +2 hours each day on creative writing.
I’m happy with this, and, bonus, it fits with Labor Day. /3 #LaborDay #WritingCommunity
