Something that I don't talk about much... I've been hanging out with a group of old hippie #songwriters.

I used to write flash fiction and short stories all the time before it became a job, and wrote reams of really angsty poetry as a teen, so I'm seeing if those old mental muscles still work and how they might approach #lyrics.

I know nothing about music theory or writing the music to go with the lyrics, but It's been fun. Our next meeting is Tuesday. I have my first draft. I'm excited.
