It's not news as such, but pollution generated by cooking on gas hobs is becoming clearer; Which are the latest to show research on levels of pollution inside houses caused by cooking on gas.

A key problem is spending time in the room when you have cooked as the pollution generated lingers for some hours.

So, studio flats & families whose lives revolve round the kitchen/diner would seem to be the most at risk?

No wonder the Europeans prefer electric hobs!
