Labour's election manifesto included a commitment to reinstate a Minister for Women & Equalities;

this hasn't happened & likely treated as a luxury to be implement 'later' rather than a necessity to address some of the glaring inequalities that constrain UK society & its economic success.

The Women's Budget Group has been calling for this reinstatement for some time & they are right; without this clear responsibility in place, Labour cannot undo the injustices of the past!
