What should we do about pupils from poor backgrounds not eating enough?

Free school meals is one answer, with MPs now suggesting an auto-enrolment to ensure *all* children are eating properly;

but, as free school meals, has itself become a data (and funding) point, the easiest solution - to just provide free school means for every pupil - remains controversial.

However, we proceed, the emphasis has to be on ensure *no* child is hungry at school!
