Well, now we know what was behind Abby Thomas' departure from the Financial Ombudsman Service; next day, charges are introduced for claims management companies bringing cases, supposedly to stop vexatious claims.

Given the complexity of some of these cases its no wonder people often prefer a claims management firm to handle them, but now, even if they win they will be charged £75 per case/person (£250 if unsuccessful).

Justice really does have a price!
