The suggestion that Keir Starmer wants to make Brexit work and
to maintain & improve relations with the EU has been dealt a bit of a blow by failure to appoint MPs to the UK-EU Parliamentary Partnership Assembly which oversees both post-Brexit trade relations and acts as a bridge & contact point for the UK & EU outside the harsh diplomatic spotlight.

Certainly there are other appointments that have not been made either but this seems a serious omission.
