Today's blog post is on using Transkribus (AI) to self-train in reading 18th-century Kurrentschrift, a handwriting which makes doctor's scrawls look positively legible by comparison.
@scholar_farmer Very fine piece! I've played around with Transkribus for other tasks and languages, not for Kurrentschrift--that's relatively easy to read just with my own eyesight in most cases (except for the occasional word)--but you may inspire me to try to do more with the software
