On my blog today, I've written about Emeric Pressburger's brilliant, unsettling novel THE GLASS PEARLS - a fascinating exploration of paranoia and moral ambiguity centred on a war criminal on the run.

@radzpandit I so agree: such an interesting and morally provocative read. Pressburger has that way of casually and brazenly dropping a horrific little detail that I associate with #PatriciaHighsmith - and like her he suavely perplexes our tidy moral certitudes. Thanks for the #BookReview
@DavidLWright You are welcome :) And I agree, it does have shades of Patricia Highsmith, the way she plays with the reader's mind.
