Making great progress on my Deco Cornflowers project. It’ll probably be finished today or tomorrow. I need to figure out some USEFUL blackwork ideas because there is only so much real estate on my walls!

Bookmarks, hankies… what else can be decorated with elegant geometric embroidery??

A delicate embroidered pattern in fine black thread on white canvas, stretched in a hoop. The pattern consists of stylized geometric flowers, scallops, and rectilinear patterns. It’s obvious that there are only a few more inches to be worked until the design is completed.

@GramrgednAngel excellent ideas, all! I see a beautiful blackwork-edged pillowcase in my very near future, and a batch of tea towels that my man will say are “too pretty to use”.
