Sjaak van der Velden has updated his huge historical database of labour strikes in the Netherlands, and published an excel version online (it was previously available as msaccess file via the International Institute of Social History).

Feeling thrilled and humble in equal measure to announce that I won the caption competition in the latest edition of the award-winning #Stage #Screen & #Radio' by #Bectu , the #tradeunion for people who work behind the scenes in the biz of show, and am now the grateful owner of a £15 book token which I will spend on my autobiography, when I've written it. And published it.
