Is there any preferred solution for packaging and shipping software based on Apache #Spark other than Docker images? I found a site called spark-packages.org but that doesn't look like it's been updated for a long time. I'm interested in making Spark less intimidating for people who haven't used the ecosystem before. #bigdata #jvm

If you don't know what #Spark is, it's basically a short-form video and photo-based platform (think #TikTok, but also with photos) that has its own implementation of #ATProtocol that is independent from #Bluesky, and is available on both iOS and Android.
It just launched in beta for people who supported their funding campaign.
I think I might be one of the first people on #Spark who has bridged their account to the #Fediverse.
