LarsThe most spectacular residential building in Lyon <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/Confluence?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Confluence</a> is certainly the Tour Ycone, the filigree residential tower by Pritzker Prize winner Jean Nouvel. With its soft colors and blurred, almost indistinct silhouette, the Tour Ycone nestles into the post-industrial urban landscape between the <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/Rhône?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Rhône</a> and <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/Saône?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Saône</a> rivers. The tower appears to be loosely assembled from fragile scaffolding and rectangular frames. It looks as if a light breeze could bring this upwardly divergent house of cards crashing down.
