From the #Moonlit #Mushroom #Parliament the Poobah says:
“When the #Unicorn sneezes, all the #rainbows lose their sense of #direction.”
On this #NationalUnicornDay, celebrate the #nonsense. Wear #sparkles. Ride a #cardboard #unicorn through your #livingroom and proclaim yourself #Minister of #Mirth. Long live the #Poobah.
The view right now from my bedroom window here in the Bronx!!!
I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a complete rainbow, and *certainly* not one this vibrant.
It’s not fully captured but to my eyeball I could see every spectrum of the rainbow clearly. Truly wild.
This is how rainbows are made: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24GfgNtnjXc
it's a lot cooler and more complicated than the explaination our schools and parents gave us.
The thumbnail? Yes that person has coloured lasers and a giant spere to shoot the lasers in. It's crazy! The production quality of this video is unmatchable
And in the end despite all the cones of coloured light and crazy stuff you will have understood thanks to the visualization.
PSA:
Rainbows are physics.
Just because one specific use of a rainbow is politicized doesn’t mean laws of nature should be politicized. Please stop politicizing every appearance of a visible light color spectrum. Thank you
On the late afternoon walk it started to lightly rain while the sun was out and setting in the west. I immediately looked east and was rewarded with a full rainbow that eventually morphed into a double.

I arrive in predawn darkness to venture into the Fernhill Wetlands preserve. My eyes glance upward to the nighttime sky already graying in the east. The moon pushes night toward the western horizon, fleeing the advent of morning light. My ears catch the dim hum of traffic hanging at the edges of quiet.

Today I was continuing work on my Game Boy game but here's something completely different. Messing around with motion vectors yay
