#Sewing & #Mending friends, I have a #question for you.

I have a top sheet with a ~25cm vertical tear inside the body of the sheet (i.e., it's landlocked).

I want to mend it in a good enough way. I'm **not going to sew it**, make it look pretty, etc. I just want to not stick my food through it in the night.

Current best option: duct tape (which is probably not ideal).

Is there a fast, easy way to make a non-sewing fix? Like a fabric tape or something? 1/n

Just looked at the limescale in my kettle and start to think about buying a water filter. Seems there's loads available these days, but must don't seem to require you to replace the filter, so not sure they effectively filter out the calcium carbonate with out that.

Does Brita have monopoly on effective water filters or are some other brands that work well?

Here's a question for all you digital artists out there…

How do you organize your "digital sketchbook", if you have one? Or, how do you deal with doodling and possibly having dozens of files of random things lying around?

Personally, I make a Comic file in and use it like a sketchbook. I add "pages" as needed, but the comic file format keeps it all organized. When a sketch gets more serious, I can then copy it into its own document/file to finish without worrying about the other sketches cluttering up the page. (The only annoying thing with this is you have to have the expensive version of CSP to use their comic files…)

Please explain this like I'm five..sometimes I am. If I use Wi-Fi to send texts, as in data turned off, does this affect my data usage? It's not for me but for a presentation to seniors. I can still text with data off but Freedom, my mobile peeps, say it still counts. I'm not worried about text messages, more about them sending photos or videos in Messages. (I know WhatsApp is free thru Wi-Fi but this is about Messages and iMessage.)
