At least 124 people have been reported killed after a roof in a nightclub in the Dominican Republic collapsed. Rescue workers continuing with the search effort over 24 hours after the tragedy occured. According to local media between 500 and 1 thousand people were in the club when the roof collapsed, early Tuesday morning. Authorities in Santo Domingo have declared 3 days of national mourning.

Fifty-one people have been killed and about 100 more injured in a massive fire that broke out in a nightclub in North Macedonia’s eastern town of Kočani.

The blaze began at around 02.35 on Sunday morning during a concert, according to interior minister Panche Toshkovski. He said young clubgoers used pyrotechnics that caused the roof to catch fire.

Okay, this is a bit of a long shot, but I’m going to try anyway…

Hey, #History #Vancouver people! There was a #nightclub just barely west of the Granville Bridge on Fourth Avenue, but before you get to Fir Street. It was on the north side of 4th, and it was veeeeery long and about 12 or maybe 20 feet wide. I think the stage was along one wall. I never was in it, because it closed in the 1970s. It may have been “The Electric Eye,” but Google gives me nothing.

Does anyone know anything?
