Irreal’s initial thoughts on Journelly: “As for Journelly itself, I like it. A lot.”
How writing for myself helps me understand my experiences, blending private journaling with public sharing. Discover the personal side of my blog.
This is an insightful read. Less of an instruction manual (thank god), and more revelations about how being an INFJ and writing often go hand-in-hand.
Much of it is anecdotal, which I'm not overly fond of. However, there have been a couple of gems worthy of my quotes journal. Like this one.
Enjoy the journey, and let your inner light shine brightly through your words.

You haven't gotten to writer level 2 yet if you haven't made yourself cry writing about everyday life. Yup, yup that's just happened to me don't judge. #WritingLife #writing #journaling
How does one patch up a broken reality? (Waves hand at everything around) If I felt poetic, I could say something profound regarding Kintsugi, the Japanese art of restoring broken ceramics artistically using silver and gold. But the truth is, most of the time all we have around is scotch tape and hope.
Day 30 and Day 31 of #Dailyhandwriting
-What is the weather like today
-Positive thoughts to close out the month
Pens: Diplomat Viper <F/M>, Edison x Atlas Collier LE <M>
Inks: Pilot Iroshizuku Shun-Gyo, Teranishi Night Time Soda
My idea of turning this calendar into a sort of personal journal has resulted, as can be attested by it only having three entries, a magnificent failure. Even so, there are defeats that, because of their rotundness, have more weight and become more formative than a victory. Time to throw the towel? Maybe. But there’s still a spark of hope that keeps saying: “Perhaps tomorrow.”
Day 29 #dailyhandwriting
Print Practice: Tell someone thank you for a gift.
I made up someone and wrote them a thank you note

to the victims of spring
this journal entry is mostly me quoting lots of things I've been reading that all seem to relate to one another and to the violent rupturing that is spring: featuring myths from Sweden and Greece, crow fights, bluebells and ramps, and Walden (of course)
