BTW, it turns out that starting from the 2010s, he released several brand-new studio albums. On the last one, released exactly 50 years after his self-titled debut, was this marvel of a reimagining of his decades-old songs.

RIP Bill Fay
I’m ashamed to admit I hadn’t thought about him in a long time.
And, as it always is, the reason to remember inevitably presents itself, one way or another.
On this particular photo he reminds me late poet, songwriter and friend Vassia Borodin, which makes me actually cry.
