I'm going up the George today.

For those of you not from Portsmouth, 'going up the George' is not a dodgy euphemism but rather walking up Portsdown Hill to one of the best old pubs in the area.

Having a couple of drinks with a work colleague.

So I made thyme syrup: equal parts sugar and water with (like maybe) 1tbsp of thyme. I used luke warm kettle water and then just left it for like 30 minutes.

Thyme goes with orange and obvs it would go with Screwdrivers (the cocktail).

Lime goes with oranges and lemons and like almost (maybe) but should I include it here?

Does lime pair with thyme well?

Tastes like stuffing fr XD

Made from scratch Chipotle Black Bean Burgers, with onion rings, and paired with some delicious Guava mojitos! @sebalicious and I sure do know how to make a damn fine burger dinner! 🤤🫘🍔🌶🫑🍅🥑🧀🥬🧅🍹

To make herbal tea, start by adding spices like turmeric, fennel seeds, and cinnamon for flavor and health benefits. Then, sweeten your tea with a bit of monk fruit sweetener and add lemon for freshness. Finally, pour hot water over the mixture, stir, and enjoy your healing drink!

Tonight's #aperitivo #aperitif is another Grand Elixir (I've batched a few) from Difford's Guide (pre-batch recipe)

45ml  Cachaça
22.5ml  Yellow Chartreuse (or génépy liqueur)
15ml  Honey syrup (3 honey to 1 water)
15ml  Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
15ml water

Store in freezer for a couple of hours then pour yourself a good coupe and garnish with a lime wedge.

I confirm it's a really good one.
Highly recommended
