It is hilarious when Yngwie does what otherwise is an awesome solo, completely fucks up on the final note, and everyone holds their breath and doesn't say a word.

The Man, my hero.

When Publix flaked about getting #Paczkis before Fat Tuesday, he didn't let up, and kept calling all of their local stores. One finally said that they "might" have some come in on Wednesday (today.) He called, et voilà!

As with everything in our world, they are not as good as when Publix baked them fresh, but they are so very much appreciated as a once-a-year treat.

A red and white box of these extra-special, extra-rich filled donuts sit on a metal trellis table. The plastic window shows 4 of the goodies inside (which was not true for long.) I believe these are Polish, and the ones we hold out for are filled with Bavarian Creme, although one can find them with lemon or raspberry as well.
One of the special donuts sits on a white plate. It is coated with a crisp layer of sugared icing (but not too much.) and is filled with creme. I wanted to take a photo after a bite was taken out, but was overruled.

Day 21 of 30 Days of Local Food: Albert's Doughnut Bake Shop

I know there’s a chain doughnut (oops donut) shop every few metres, but there’s really nothing like a doughnut made onsite by a third-generation master baker. Albert Warzecha’s display case is filled with ethereal, fresh-made goodnesses that come powdered, glazed, sprinkled or filled. Lightly crisp on the outside, airy and pillowy on the inside. Coffee not needed.

A sweet welcome to Yogyakarta, Java!

Java being synonym for great coffee are recognized by most coffeeholics in this world. But the Indonesian Java island, where the capital Djakarta and the cultural capital and former capital Yogyakarta is situated, is also the third largest producer of chocolate in the world.

Indonesia as such is the largest chocolate producer by far outside Africa, more than twice as large as Brazil.

Being a historical, cultural and political meeting point for centuries, the city is a place to enjoy great food, being Indonesian or a visitor.
But the greatest pleasure will be to enjoy coffee and a chocolate snack.

Sweettooths will love this city!.

For someone who enjoys his coffee black, no sugar or milk thank you very much, and chocolate 60% or over, please:
That is no problem in Yogja!

I had to stop myself from eating chocolate with every great cup of coffee I got in Yogja. The amounts of coffees drunk, not so much.
