Yesterday was "#Superman Day", commemorating the character's first appearance in Action Comics #1 released on 18 April 1938 (cover date is later, but American cover dates are something else about the distribution mechanism).

My LCS gave me some freebies for the occasion.

Supergrampa Day :)

Happy Superman day. 87 years today since the characters of Clark Kent/Superman and Lois Lane, created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, made their very first appearance in Action Comics #1, on April 18, 1938 (going by publication date vs. cover date).

Art by: Joe Shuster, Lee Bermejo, Jorge Jiménez, Frank Quitely, and Jamie Grant.

As Superman: House of Brainiac hurtles toward its big revelations, I was hooked, but less thrilled when those revelations fail to manifest. When Lobo makes fun of the plot, we've got problems, and more at the link. #comics #comicbooks #dccomics ⬇️
