If a simple accident results in a $58,000 repair bill on a car value at $86,000 how are people getting insurance on these Cybertrucks? The values seem to go down every month too. I'm not talking about the celebrities but the more normal, everyday people.

It's also shortsighted to buy a vehicle only one place can repair. A place with a 6+ month wait to even get repairs started.

“Musk’s not a genius anymore—he’s a liability. Tesla’s financial cliff is real, and his political clown show is the shove that’ll send it over. Trump’s tariffs have gutted the company, the Cybertruck’s a $1.4 billion joke, and that Nazi salute? It’s the cherry on this shit sundae. His brand’s trashed, his stock’s cratering…”

“And then there’s the Cybertruck… it’s a rolling disaster. Production’s a mess… Recalls piled up, customers bailed, and analysts say it’s cost Tesla $1.4 billion in lost revenue and wasted costs. … It’s a neon sign screaming “incompetence,” and it’s dragging Tesla’s stock—and Musk’s cred—into the gutter.”

a police department justified purchasing ancillary equipment from Tesla (ie., not as a patrol car) based on savings from not filling it with gas 15 times a year for its light use as a "public outreach" tool

because cops so badly want to be seen as 'cool' by its target audience of nine year old kids 🙄

* the other financial justification to pay $34K extra -- the #CyberTruck projected as lasting ten years

A post my wife showed me from a FB 'friend' (yeh, I know, I've told her) inspired a little late night doodling for a meme

Take it if ya have a use for it 🥰😉

(PS normal critter and pretty picture service shall be resumed after a little walk today. Love ya 😉)
