Chang TerhuneToday I opened an Ableton set from 2014 I thought I’d lost. Joy in a pleasant surprise was soon gone as I saw what a state the set was in. Like seriously in such disarray I couldn’t figure out what was where and when. Yet this set was used live and on my first ep. So I’ve obviously learned some things since then which is nice. Now going through it to update for new live sets and stuff. Chang TerhuneDid a first run at the dj set for the local techno peeps. Even with cutting out large swaths (Miami/Atl booty bass, 80s deep cuts, Sun Ra & coca leaf jazz bands are but a few sadly) it still topped out at 4 hours! The limit was 2 which even tho they said they’d take it I begged off so I could edit out the mistakes lol. Got it down to 2 hours tho still needs work.
