Tesla (TSLA) has to replace computer in ~4 million cars or compensate their owners

Tesla (TSLA) has to replace the ‘self-driving’ computer inside about 4 million vehicles or likely compensate the owners of those vehicles.

The liability could be more significant than the largest automotive recall in terms of cost.

If you're #ActuallyAutistic, #ADHD, or some other flavor of #neurodivergent, and don't know what a "money shift" is in #automotive lingo:

It's when you are in a vehicle, moving forward, and immediately shift to either reverse or to a gear too low for the engine's current RPM. The engine's internals get fucked, the engine seizes, and a bunch of money must be spent on new parts and/or service before the car will move on its own again.

I need to get used to saying "money shift" when it happens.
