Her intro talks about why & how to memorise poems, and it was going well until she mentioned that one of the "remember me" poems is Dennis Glover's "The Magpies"". I hate the birds and the poem. Just seeing the name brings back bad memories of being forced to learn & recite it at school. UnaSpent a great day with two lovely ladies from The Moko Foundation from Kaitāia. We are doing a meningococcal and pneumococcal carriage study in Te Hiku, far north of <a href="https://mstdn.science/tags/Aotearoa" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Aotearoa</a>. Though the project made me want to cry this morning, but thanks to these two I had a really good day, playing with labels talking about data sovereignty, Kaupapa Māori approach to research... I am feeling energised, but also soooo tired. More tomorrow to run through from procedures and talk about data entry.
