gwimo<p>Finally finished <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/Wayward" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Wayward</span></a> by <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@chuckwendig" class="u-url mention">@<span>chuckwendig</span></a></span>, but I&#39;m still emotionally damaged from it so I&#39;ll write a review tomorrow (maybe).</p><p>4 1/2 stars though. I do highly recommend it!</p>
gwimo<p>If what just happened actually just happened, I don&#39;t think I will EVER forgive <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@chuckwendig" class="u-url mention">@<span>chuckwendig</span></a></span>! gwimo<p>FUCK YEAH! <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/Wayward" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Wayward</span></a></p>
gwimo<p>&quot;Fucking hell, the band&#39;s back together!&quot; <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/Wayward" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Wayward</span></a> <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/bookstodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>bookstodon</span></a> <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/Book" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Book</span></a> <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/reading" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>reading</span></a></p>
gwimo<p>I noticed my attention span isn&#39;t what it was 4 years ago. A book like <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/Wanderers" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Wanderers</span></a> or <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/Wayward" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Wayward</span></a> might have taken me a while to read, sure, maybe 3 weeks instead of my usual time. But I notice now that it&#39;s taking me longer. Had I not thought of the idea of following along with the audiobook, I may still be reading Wanderers.</p><p><a href="https://zirk.us/tags/Reading" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Reading</span></a> <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/Bookstodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Bookstodon</span></a> <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/Books" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Books</span></a></p>
gwimo<p>Damnit, Chuck. You lied to me. He ain&#39;t dead. <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/Wayward" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Wayward</span></a></p>
gwimo<p>Reading <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/Wayward" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Wayward</span></a> for the first time and I just know <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@chuckwendig" class="u-url mention">@<span>chuckwendig</span></a></span> is gonna find a way to break my heart.</p>
gwimo<p>Bye, Matthew. I didn&#39;t much like you. <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/Wayward" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Wayward</span></a></p>
gwimo<p>Re-reading <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/Wanderers" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Wanderers</span></a> by <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@chuckwendig" class="u-url mention">@<span>chuckwendig</span></a></span> to reacquainted myself with the world before reading <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/Wayward" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Wayward</span></a> (which I somehow missed its release last November).</p><p>I read Wanderers in 2019 and was baffled by the rightwing characters going ape shit during a strange epidemic. And I kept thinking, no one in their right minds would ever act like this, right?</p><p>Less than a year later, I learned just how crazy the rightwing lunatics could get.</p><p>If you haven&#39;t read it yet, I highly recommend this tome.</p><p><a href="https://zirk.us/tags/Book" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Book</span></a></p>
