Leo<p>Radislav Krstić, ex generale serbo-bosniaco e capo di stato maggiore del Drina Corps dell’esercito della Republika Srpska, ha inviato una lettera al Meccanismo residuale per i tribunali internazionali con la quale ha ammesso per la prima volta di aver preso parte al genocidio e di essere colpevole dei crimini per i quali è stato condannato. The recognition feels performative and serves to legitimize the ongoing violence against Palestinians, rather than genuinely addressing the issue of genocide. </p><p>Critics argue that this timing suggests a double standard, prioritizing the commemoration of past atrocities while seemingly ignoring the current genocide in Palestine. The outnumbered and lightly-armed Dutch troops there unable to defend them.
