Yesterday I as I was finishing work after a crap week, I had on SomaFM and just as I was closing up work... one of my tracks came on that I had not heard them play before, which lifted my spirits a lot. It pulled me right out of the dismal mood lingering all day.

That there remains a world where we can get human curation and human creation available to most everyone feels utopian in this day and age. It almost feels subservient, and I love that kind of civil disobedience.

If I'd known that #AppleTV requires the TV to be on while streaming audio (e.g. #SomaFM) I'd have given more thought to my purchase.

I don't like having a TV on for hours just for this purpose, a huge waste of power.

Well, until this morning two of my #Chromecast Audios were still working with noncommercial apps like #VLC and #SomaFM, since they don't ask the devices to authenticate. But today those have dropped off the network as well.

Whoever's picking the tracks for the Specials channel starting at 9am Pacific(I think) has a good ear finding the choice KPM tracks. Not sure what you'd name it? Cinematic?

I've made an admittedly lackluster search of KPM, and haven't found the quality you've dug up. I guess I need to spend more time really looking.

Well done. I'd like to hear more of those style choices fleshed out to a full channel. Oh, and the Jazz special rocks :^)
